Megan Godbeer

Director of Ridgeline Therapy

Megan is the Director of Ridgeline Therapy and a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists.

She is also a Registered Play Therapist (SPT) and is currently completing her Doctorate in Psychology (Psy.D.).

Megan is passionate about creating a safe, compassionate, and welcoming space where clients of all ages can explore their experiences at their own pace. With a person-centred approach at the heart of her work, she strives to walk alongside her clients—helping them uncover strengths, build resilience, and find meaningful strategies for living a balanced and fulfilling life.

Megan’s current focus includes play therapy as well as supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, and trauma, though her practice is not limited to these areas. She also brings experience in grief and loss, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Megan has worked with young children, teens, adults, and couples in private practice, clinical settings, schools, and community-based centres. This broad background allows her to adapt her approach to meet each client’s unique needs.


Above all, Megan is committed to helping clients feel heard, understood, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges—offering both evidence-based tools and a genuine, caring connection.

By meeting each person where they are and working at their own pace, she uses a flexible, person-centred approach to support growth, resilience, and meaningful change.

Megan works with children, teens, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, and related challenges. Together, she helps clients better understand what they’re experiencing, uncover their strengths, and develop practical strategies for moving forward with greater confidence and resilience.

Compassionate support for processing experiences and moving forward.

Megan provides a welcoming, non-judgmental space for clients navigating the effects of trauma. Drawing from evidence-based approaches, she works at each client’s pace to support healing, build a stronger sense of safety, and develop tools for creating a more fulfilling life.
