Annelise Bazin
Provisional psychologist
Registered Provisional Psychologist
Annelise supports individuals and couples through fertility challenges, pregnancy, postpartum and loss, so this chapter feels less isolating.
How Annelise can help
Annelise's focus is maternal and reproductive mental health. She works with people facing fertility challenges, navigating pregnancy and postpartum, and experiencing perinatal OCD, anxiety or depression. She is honoured to support parents grieving miscarriage, infant loss and other losses on the path to parenthood. She also works with children, teens and adults going through life transitions.
Annelise's approach
Annelise is person-centred and creates a safe, open space for topics that often go unspoken. She draws on CBT, ACT, ERP and Narrative Therapy, and uses the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy with couples. Eight years of teaching yoga shape her belief in the mind-body connection, which she brings into her work.
Background & Training
Annelise holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Alberta. She is a Registered Provisional Psychologist, practising under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist.
