Kelsey Simmonds

Provisional psychologist

Registered Provisional Psychologist

Kelsey creates a safe, welcoming and even fun space for kids, youth and adults, and meets every client right where they are.

How Kelsey can help

Kelsey supports adults with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship concerns and life transitions. She is passionate about working with children and youth, offering play therapy for younger kids and therapy tailored to teens. With a background supporting people affected by family violence, she brings a trauma-informed lens to all her work.

Kelsey's approach

Kelsey believes people are more resilient than they often realize. Through a person-centred approach, she helps clients explore their challenges and build on the strengths they already have. Working through difficult emotions can feel scary on your own, and Kelsey aims to be a trusted voice along the way, offering new perspectives and skills. She draws on ACT, CBT and mindfulness, and lets each client set the pace.
